Process Supervisor

This role is based at our plant in Pineville, North Carolina and reports to the Process Manager.Do not miss the opportunity to join a diverse group of people-centric professionals, thought leaders and rapid thinkers, entrepreneurs in spirit and status quo-fighters!Job Summary As the Injection Molding Process Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for directing and coordinating activities related to establishing, documenting and reviewing the Injection Molding Process for all item numbers manufactured in the Injection Molding Department. These activities will be conducted while ensuring and maximizing safety, product quality, production output, housekeeping, and cost control to achieve plant goals.Principal Responsibilities Train and oversee Process Technicians and Lead Operators in Scientific Injection Molding principles and Best Demonstrated Manufacturing Practices Assist in the start-up and troubleshooting of process related problems with Injection Molding equipment and tooling Manage process improvement projects as related to equipment, tooling and production procedures. Analyze and present cost saving ideas for the department Maintain quality standards by complying with the Approved Compounds/Components List, Quality Control Manual, and ISO procedures Inspect machines, tooling, and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and Safety Identify, report, and follow-up on maintenance related issues by use of the work order system Qualifications & Experience Degree in Engineering, Plastics, Manufacturing Management or related degree or 8-10 years equivalent experience 5-10 years leadership experience Prior experience in an Injection Molding environment.
